Note: this is not mandatory but sure helps us to plan for ample seating and materials, as well as to share post-event information and photos.

All artists participating in the draw-a-thon are welcome to submit works created during this event (or last year's event) for the post-show exhibition and opening reception.  If interested send your name, brief bio and up to five images (attach images no larger than 2MB and include within the file name your last name) to sesleden@gmail.com no later than October 10th, 2011.  Images must have been created during Art Depth's event.

Art Depth's Second Annual Art Party and Draw-a-thon

Attention visual artists and art lovers:

Mark your calendars for Art Depth's 2nd Annual Art Party / Draw-a-thon - OCTOBER 1st.  This event is part of Chicago Artists Month, and all artists are encouraged to come and createBring your own easel & art supplies or you can borrow ours while supplies last.  Dick Blick sketch pads will be on hand for participating artists, so show up early and get your drawing pads and materials while supplies last.  Space is also limited so best to arrive early to claim your spot.  Models will be situated on separate platforms which will allow artists the opportunity for short and long sketches. 

The following Featured Artists will be in attendance and planning to create and/or be a part of the inspiration:

Scarlet Monk

Enjoy the music and scenes you too immerse yourself in the process of creating!

Backup (rain) location will be across the street at Studio 935 but we're hoping it will be outdoors under the Chicago sky!  Studio 935 will remain open during the Oct. 1st event (regardless of weather) as they will host their own exhibition, so be sure to check it out.

This year's draw-a-thon is part of Chicago Artists Month 2011 as it exemplifies the theme "Artful Networks.  Plus, all artists creating at this year's draw-a-thon have the opportunity to submit their work to have it included at the post-show exhibition, "Inspiration, Connection & Creation" to be held Oct 20th.  Email sesleden@gmail.com for details.  Deadline for submission is October 10th.
